Tesamorelin- is a third generation growth hormone releasing hormone that consists of a 44 amino acid sequence. It is a stabilized synthetic peptide analogue of the hypothalamic peptide, Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH). Tesamorelin was approved by the FDA in 2010 for the treatment of Lipodystrophy in HIV patients. Currently the most effective GH releasing peptide on the market.
